I worked with Rockstar Coders for nearly 3 years, collaborating with several of their clients, while primarily focusing on two of them, where I made significant contributions to their products as described below.
Leading tenant coordination tracking software.
A SaaS platform offering a comprehensive menu pricing system for contractors in industries such as HVAC, plumbing, and electrical services. Key features include custom pricing, service contracts, payment plans, warranties, and more. The platform is widely adopted across the US.
Exact Payments provides seamless embedded payment solutions, enabling quick merchant onboarding, instant payment method activation, delivering an end-to-end payment processing platform for SaaS businesses.
I started as a Ruby on Rails specialist and later expanded my contributions to include Node.js microservices.
A hosted checkout platform enabling merchants to accept credit card payments.
It consisted on a Merchant App (Vue JS), an Admin App (Rails) and multiple microservices (Node)
The main feature was the multi-merchant functionality, allowing merchants to share the same pinpad while keeping their payments safe and isolated.
SDX is a portal for emerging infrastructure, offering tools for news, articles, webinars, advertising, and data analysis.
Built with WordPress, Ruby on Rails, PostgreSQL, and AngularJS for the admin area.
I worked part-time and focused on enhancing the Rails API, improving test coverage and fixing bugs.
Rails API, aggregating and providing marketing data and stats to an Angular app and a WordPress website.
Initially I worked at the company called Ideais, where our team supported e-commerce portals owned by B2W.
After Ideais was acquired by B2W, I continued working on the same products, transitioning to being directly hired by B2W.
Starting as a mid-level software engineer, I was promoted over the years and contributed to multiple projects within the company, eventually taking on the role of Tech Lead.
I also had the opportunity to mentor numerous developers and serve as an instructor in the trainee program, helping to guide and shape the next generation of software engineers.

► Promoted Price: a specialized microservice to process promotion rules. An evolution of the promotion architecture.
► Installment Service: microservice providing to the storefront a list of applicable installments for a product or checkout
► Coupon Service: microservice generating and processing coupons with discounts
► Extended Warranty: monolithic application to manage extended warranty rules
This project allowed users to log in to the e-commerce platforms Americanas, Shoptime, and Submarino.
Providing a comprehensive timeline of orders and registration details, along with a self-service area where users could manage various tasks such as canceling purchases, processing product returns, and retrying payments.
In addition to the main project, I contributed to the following subprojects:
► Partner Integration: middleware for supplier integration, consuming multiple SOAP web services.
► Vale Presente Físico: built an application to generate vouchers, seamlessly integrating with Zebra printers.
At my first software company, we built a hotel booking app, a bookstore app, and an educational assessment system. Though I was mostly focused on the hotel app (Logic Hotel).
I introduced version control tools to the team (rare in 2006) and gained valuable experience in object-oriented techniques.
This role also enhanced my skills in customer support and team management.
