• Implement custom reports: allowing the creation of reports where the content can be a combination of computed formulas and fields from (almost) any data through the application (deals, tenants, landlords, projects, categories, contractors, lease data, cost data, etc).
• Provide tools to customize the reports with different types of fields, ordering, orientation, column width, page breaks, fixed columns, summaries, etc.

I was responsible to develop the integration with Amazon Marketplace Web Services API (MWS).

The application fetches data from MWS to generate different reports and metrics and support decision making about loans.

• Implement background services to retrieve and process data from Amazon Marketplace Web Service API (MWS)
• Calibrate very carefully how to perform API requests to MWS on behalf of the sellers, considering different throttling limits for each Amazon API (reports, products, finances, sellers)
• Achieve an optimal scenario where we avoid throttling limits and at the same time we fetch all data we need as fast as possible
• Use the gem sidekiq-scheduler to define schedulings by using CRON syntax in the sidekiq configuration file
• Implemented code to extract, parse and compute all fetched data. Use this data to generate several reports for each client

• I was introduced to the language Go and helped the team with some bug fixes and minor changes.

A hosted checkout retail platform that enables merchants to accept credit card payments.

It consists on the following subsystems: Merchant App, Admin App and Node JS Microservices.

Via the multi-merchant functionality it allows merchants to share the same pinpad while keeping their payments safe and isolated.

I worked on a team of 5 developers. I was mainly responsible to implement changes in the Rails apps to meet the requirements for the new version using the microservices arquiteture.

We finished this version within the expected deadline and deployed it successfully to production.

• Re-write the code to support the new data layer using Node JS microservices
• Introduce more than 100 unit and system tests with Rspec to cover the most important flows
• Clean up controllers and models, remove duplicated code, refactor long methods and implement several bug fixes
• Tmplement micro services for accounts, charges and subscriptions using Node JS
• Increase the test coverage for the remaining microservices with Mocha and Chai

Payeezy is a suite of tools that allows merchants to receive and manage payments worldwide.

It consists on the following subsystems: Real Time Payment Manager, Provisioning Admin Tool and Payment API.

• I implemented bug fixes and minor changes during the months I worked on the project.
• However, another team in the company was looking for a ruby developer to help with a Rails app and then I left the Payeezy team and joined the X2 Team

A Rails API providing consolidated marketing data to an Angular app and a WordPress website.

One of the most important aspects of the API is to collect and aggregate data and stats.

These stats are used to generate several different reports and give feedback to marketing professionals, publishers and sponsors.

▪ Promoted Price: an evolution of the AdmPromo-PromotionIntegration architecture. It process the rules generated by the Rule Manager Service and provides the frontend apps a list of applicable promotions based on a business context

▪ Installment Service: microservice providing to the frontend apps a list of applicable installments for a product or checkout

▪ Coupon Service: microservice generating and processing coupons to provide the final user discounts when buying products on the website

▪ Extended Warranty: monolithic application providing extended warranty rules to be used by the frontend apps

• I led the promoted price team. We were responsible to develop and maintain a set of applications with vital importance to the company.
• I contributed to the team by helping my team mates to define architectural foundations, by removing impediments, coding and reviewing code, communicating with other teams, etc.

This project enables the user to login in the e-commerce sites Americanas, Shoptime and Submarino.

It provides a timeline of orders and registration information. It also offers a self-service area that allows the user to perform cancellation of purchases, product returns, payment retries, etc.

Besides the main project I also contributed to the following sub projects:

▪ Partner Integration: integration middleware for suppliers. It consumes several SOAP webservices

▪ Vale Presente Físico: an application that generates vouchers. It integrates with a zebra printer
